Do you need some grant funding for research/projects that you believe will make a difference to the lives of New Zealander’s, through the law?

 The Borrin Foundation was formally launched at the Supreme Court at an event hosted by the Chief Justice, last week. The Foundation believes that law is essential to a flourishing society – one that is just, inclusive, tolerant and free. The Borrin Foundation funds legal research, education, and scholarship to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders. At its launch event it announced its two initial strategic focus areas – New Zealand’s criminal justice system and family law. It also announced over $1.7 million of grants to five exciting and visionary inaugural grant projects. The Borrin Foundation will have an open Expression of Interest round for funding which opens on Wednesday 14 March. EOI round closes on Monday 30 April, 12 noon.
