Applications are open for Live the Dream, New Zealand’s accelerator programme developing young social entrepreneurs and their ventures. The 9-week intensive programme runs every summer in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch – choose from one of three chapters.
Nearly 100 alumni have graduated from Live the Dream since 2014 – some are still cranking their ventures, others have started new ones, or found their dream jobs. Every summer the programme attracts a diverse range of young people – from school leavers, to tertiary students, to young professionals – who are driven to solve the world’s most pressing issues.
Programme Manager Eva Riddell says this year the goal is to craft a “year-long experience” for participants that will create value beyond the nine weeks of the actual programme.
This year the programme will support both young entrepreneurs with new ideas, as well as intrapreneurs who want to create change within an existing organisation.
