In the wake of a global economic recession, 2009 brought rising social need and reduced resources across Aotearoa. The Tindall Foundation responded by supporting innovative, community-led solutions that made the most of local strengths and people’s potential. Acting not only as a funder but also as a catalyst and convenor, the Foundation worked alongside communities to help them collaborate toward shared goals. A time of growing need saw the annual donations reach over 8 million for the first time.
