In December we announced a new funding partnership with Nelson Bays Community Foundation (NBCF) to support our Families and Social Services Programme across the top of the South Island. The Nelson Bays Community Foundation became our twenty third funding partner acting as one of our Local Allocation Committees.
NBCF recently completed the first funding round allocating Tindall Foundation donations and it is delighted to confirm donations totaling $28,000 supporting the following four local community organisations.
- $9,500 to Nelson Budget Service Inc
- $6,500 to English Language Partners Nelson/Marlborough
- $6,000 to Nelson Community Foodbank Trust
- $6,000 to Nelson District Parent Centre
The stories behind each of these organisations and the projects being funded will be covered over four weeks in the local newspaper, Nelson Weekly, starting this week with the story on the Nelson Budget Service Inc.
