Auckland Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Longbottom as CEO.
Originally from Auckland, Mark has spent 25 years in the charity sector both in the UK and New Zealand. Since 2008 he has headed up one of the UK’s leading corporate foundations at St. James’s Placewhere he played a key role growing income and increasing funding for good causes. Prior to that Mark held a commercial role for the Prince’s Trust as well as similar roles for other high-profile voluntary organisations.
Having spent his formative years attending Takapuna Grammar School and the University of Auckland, Mark has a real passion for our city and is looking forward to utilising his skills, knowledge and philanthropy experience to lead the Auckland Foundation into its next chapter.
Mark will start in the role in February 2019.
