We are looking for a Donations Advisor to work with us in our Takapuna office

The role

The Tindall Foundation is looking to recruit a Donations Advisor who will be based in Takapuna and is responsible for:

 

In the course of managing the Foundation’s application assessment process and also proactively identifying project opportunities for the Foundation, the Advisor will liaise with a wide range of people.  These will include applicants, donees, funders, Trustees, contractors as well as colleagues.

Skills and experience being sought

We are seeking a person who has already spent a reasonable period of time in the community or environmental sector.  The person will have established networks within their field and within the wider not-for-profit sector. Ability to work credibly with diverse cultural groups, in particular kaupapa Maori organisations, would be an advantage.

The position will suit someone who has a good working knowledge of the community sector in NZ, is highly competent in working with client management systems, and a track record of managing diverse stakeholders towards achieving project outcomes.

Candidates will possess good communication, presentation and computer skills, organisational and prioritising abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, versatility and enjoy performing multiple tasks successfully.  Being a team player with a positive approach to life and work is essential.  The position may require occasional travel.
